In the upheaval of 2020, we did have some nuggets worth sharing excitement over ✨
When we first sheltered-in-place in March, we offered ground-based conditioning classes aimed at targeting our aerial muscles 💪✨
We had Zooms catered to kiddos & adults - we even had some family members join 💖
Many students created their own rigging solutions or bought portable rigs in the interim, and we were able to offer virtual lessons, as well as create and send video coaching (yay West County internet!)
It’s been amazing and awe-inspiring to see our butterflies chart their own paths to continue their passion, while feeling empowered by the strong emphasis we have always placed on *safety* in the studio. We couldn’t be prouder !
We hosted two virtual showcases - - having something to focus our energy on during SIP helped us maintain some semblance of sanity 😅 We also utilized some extra time to polish our Instructor Tool Kit with virtual teacher trainings hosted by Paper Doll Militia.
While converting SoCo Aerial to a virtual & distanced format, Kristen was also transitioning SRJC’s Brewing Lab to an online format during the Spring Semester. Through that transition, she had an opportunity to guest on HenHouse Brewing’s Instagram Livestream and talk about aerials and brewing 🤓
We are so lucky to have brought on two new students who found us because of the stream ✨
It’s certainly not been an easy road, but we can only go UP from here.
Thank YOU deeply for YOUR support, understanding, patience, and generosity this past year!
We’re still standing & look forward to flying more with you in the new year ✨
We’ve got this 🙌🏽
